The staff at Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery invited a few of us Young Explainers to help tour the Heritage Lottery Fund crew around the Museum, in a bid to secure 12m funding for the proposed Plymouth History Centre. Today we found out it was a success! Very exciting news for Plymouth – the centre would be the largest of it’s kind in the SouthWest, and would bring together the city’s collection of artefacts, of which there are around a million, into one accessible hub.
