The Black Corridor challenges the way we interpret our surrounding environment by contrasting our preconceptions with the physical reality of a space. Using spatial and lighting design the piece sets up the illusion of a long corridor with a distant exit. The unusual architecture and lighting coupled with a monitor showing the space 8 seconds in the past allows the participant to witness their own reaction and understanding  of the space.
